Thanks to my parents, for bringing me into this world, whether my birth was planned or just a happening it made no difference, you cared for me and you loved me regardless of the many problems I may have brought into your lives.
Thanks to my family, My years on this earth have been filled with many joys, few I have earned and most have been given to me in the form of love, tolerance and understanding.
I can only hope that their lives be filled with joy as mine has been by knowing them and sharing their lives.
Thank you my friends, “to have a friend you must be a friend” this quote pretty much tells it all. Sure that I have fell short of deserving some friendships because of my stubborn attitude and outspoken nature I am grateful for those who remain as friends in spite of my shortcomings.
Thanks to my ancestors, because of your labor, your courage and forethought for future generations I have been given a running start in my race through life. From you I have inherited grit, reason and knowledge. By wisely using my inheritance I can actually live what some can only dream.
Thanks to my heroes and heroines, by your bravery, your sense of duty and your willingness to place others above self I thank all men and women of the past, present and future who risk and give their lives so that I may live.
Thanks to our founding fathers, for their perceptive view of the future and devotion to fairness, were it not for these great men we like many other people would be ruled by one master, dominated by one religion and doomed to one fate. Their wisdom has allowed each of us to choose our destiny and whether or not we personally wish to praise any man or worship any god.
For all that I am thankful a simple “thank you” cannot express.
